We are almost done, Gang!  Tuesday is our last day.  If you didn't read your essay aloud, plan to do that and to encourage your tutee to do the same.  We will collect their typed copies for inclusion in the book.  Your journals need to be completed (outside and inside) for class.  In this blog, what have you gained from this experience as a tutor?  As a student?

February 22

Today, you worked on roughdrafts again and created your collage on your journals.  What was most effective in your conversation about your tutee's roughdraft?  What kind of response did you receive?  What should you have done differently? Respond in at least 10-12 sentences.

Thursday, Feb 17

Again, I heard great discussions today.  Share your experiences with your tutee.  Then, I would like you to describe your tutee without using his/her name.  What do you know about him/her.  Finally, what are you learning about yourself as a writer in the early stages of this project?  (10-12 sentences minimum)

Day 2

Today as I was "creeping" around groups, I heard fantastic dialogue about the writing process.  Discuss your experience of the day.  What approaches did you take?  Is there anything that you would have done differently?  What was your closing assignment for your student?

Day 1 - The Adventure Begins

We just completed our first day at Lincoln Academy.  What was your reaction to our first day?  What do you anticipate doing next with your tutee?
